§ 6-63. Same—Duties and compensation.

It shall be the duty of the inspector of plumbing and gas fitting and, as required, the alternate position, to undertake those duties as imposed by virtue of M.G.L.A. c. 142, § 11 in conformity with the regulations of the Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters. Compensation for each position shall be as set each city fiscal year by the superintendent of building subject to the approval of the city council.
