§ 6-62. Same—Appointment; terms of office.

The inspector of plumbing and gas fitting and the alternate inspector position shall be appointed by the superintendent of building and each shall serve for a term of three years from date of appointment or until a successor is appointed. Each may be removed prior to the expiration of the term by the superintendent of building for good cause and neither position shall be subject to the requirements of M.G.L.A. c. 31.
