§ 2-138. Appointment of assistant treasurer.

The treasurer and collector may in writing appoint, with the approval of the city council, as assistant treasurer who may be an employee in said treasurer's department. The appointment of said assistant treasurer shall be pursuant to M.G.L.A. c. 41, § 39A.
