§ 17-91. Motorized scooters—Regulation of operation.

(a)

No person shall operate a motorized scooter on or upon any public sidewalk.

(b)

No person shall operate a motor scooter on a public way or private way to which the public has a right of access except as authorized and in compliance with M.G.L.A. c. 90, § 1E.

(c)

A police officer, upon observing a violation of this section shall impound the motorized scooter and all fees associated with towing and storage shall be the responsibility of the owner of the motorized scooter.
