This article is adopted pursuant to the police power of the city to protect the public
health and welfare, its powers under its Charter and the Massachusetts General Laws
and its home rule powers pursuant to the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,
Amendment Article 89 as implemented at M.G.L.A. c. 43B, § 13. Grant of a permit hereunder
shall not be deemed a waiver of or license to violate any law, regulation or ordinance
including, without limitation, city zoning and subdivision ordinances and regulations.
