§ 6-40. Municipal hearing officer.

(a)

Appointment . The mayor shall appoint, with approval of the city council, a municipal hearing officer for a term of two years, or thereafter, until a qualified successor be duly appointed.

(b)

Duties. The position of the municipal hearing officer shall perform the duties set forth in M.G.L.A., c. 148A with regards to conducting requesting hearings of code violations.
