§ 5-51. Enactment authority.

This article is enacted in pursuance of the authority conferred by M.G.L.A. c. 90, §§ 40A—40I, inclusive, and for the purpose of promoting the health, safety and general welfare of the public by preventing the creation, establishment and maintenance of airport hazards, thereby protecting the lives and property of users of the Westfield-Barnes Airport and of the occupants of land in its vicinity and preventing destruction or impairment of the airport and the public investment therein.
