§ 2-392. Composition; appointment, term of members.

The historical commission will be composed of seven members, appointed by the mayor, subject to confirmation by the city council for terms of three years, except that initial appointments shall be two members for one year, two members for two years, and three members for three years. The members of the commission are hereby classified as special municipal employees within the meaning of chapter 268A of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
