§ 18-4. Assistant superintendent of public works.

There is hereby created a position of assistant superintendent of public works which shall be appointed by the superintendent of public works. the assistant superintendent of public works shall, in the absence of the superintendent of public works, or should the superintendent of public works be unable to serve due to illness or other incapacity, have all of the powers of the superintendent of public works and act on behalf of the superintendent of public works.
