§ 11-15. Organization.

The commission shall, annually in the month of February, organize by electing a chairman and secretary. The chairman shall serve as the presiding officer within the meaning of M.G.L.A. c. 39, § 23C, and, in the event of the chairman's absence from a meeting of the commission at which a quorum is present, a chairman pro tempore shall be elected by vote of the members in attendance.
