§ 10-24. Possession or consumption of alcoholic or malt beverages by persons under 21 years of age.

  • No person who has not attained the age of 21 shall possess any alcoholic beverage or malt beverage, while on, in, or upon any municipal sidewalk or any public way or on any other sidewalk or way to which the public has a right of access. In addition, it shall be unlawful for a person who has not attained the age of 21 to possess or consume any alcoholic beverage or malt beverage at any place not open to the public, unless in connection with the consumption of the alcoholic beverage, the underage person is being supervised by his or her parent or legal guardian as set forth in M.G.L.A. c. 138, § 34.
