§ 4. Order of business.

  • At every regular meeting of the council the order of business shall be as follows unless changed by a motion and second to suspend the rules and with a majority vote to change the order.

    (1)

    Pledge of Allegiance.

    (2)

    Reading of the record of the previous meeting.

    (3)

    Public participation.

    (4)

    Communications from the mayor.

    (5)

    Communications and reports from city officers.

    (6)

    Presentation of petitions, remonstrances and other papers.

    (7)

    Reports of committees.

    (8)

    Unfinished business of preceding meetings.

    (9)

    Motions, orders or resolutions.
